						 At Deutsche Schule Kobe
International (DSKI),
our mission is to nurture lifelong
inquirers,
 through inspiring and purposeful
learning.
Committed to providing an
exceptional education,
we foster international-mindedness,
critical thinking,
inclusion, and respect for diversity,
while encouraging integrity and
compassion in all we do.

DSKI is a private, non-profit international school for children aged 2 to 12 years.
We are an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) World School and a certified Cambridge International School for mathematics and language.

					History & Mission
Founded in 1909, DSKI is one of Japan’s oldest foreign schools and the second-oldest German school in East Asia.
Originally serving German-speaking families, the school expanded in 2002 with an English-language kindergarten. In 2006, DSKI became the first IB PYP World School in Kobe.

					Faculty & Leadership
Behind every student’s success at DSKI is a team of dedicated educators and thoughtful leaders.
With warmth, experience, and a shared vision for international education, they guide our community with care and integrity.
Saturday School
DSK International's Saturday School is a morning program for children aged 5 to 12 with English, German, or French as their native language.
