School Events at DSKI

Throughout the year, DSKI hosts a variety of events that bring learning to life and strengthen our school community. From seasonal celebrations and project presentations to concerts, sports days, and international festivals — our events reflect the creativity, diversity, and spirit of our students, families, and staff.

Oktoberfest
A festive day with traditional German food, music, and fun activities for the whole school community. Parents,
teachers, and students celebrate together in true Bavarian style.

Halloween
Students dress up in creative costumes and enjoy a day filled with spooky games and treats. A fun mix of creativity and light-hearted scares.

St. Martin
The story of St. Martin is shared through song and performance, and students join a beautiful lantern walk through the neighborhood.

St. Nicolaus
St. Nikolaus visits the classrooms with a warm smile and small gifts. Children sing songs and learn about this German tradition.

Christmas
A cozy celebration with songs, crafts, and seasonal treats. Families enjoy performances and the warm spirit of the holidays.

Carneval
Colorful costumes, laughter, and dancing fill the school halls. Children enjoy playful games and traditional Fasching snacks.

Ski Trip (Upper Primary)
Older students head to the mountains for a multi-day ski experience. It’s a highlight of the year that builds skills and friendships.

Culture Week
Students explore cultures from around the world through music, art, and food. A vibrant celebration of diversity and curiosity.

Book Day
Students and staff dress up as their favorite book characters. A celebration of reading with shared stories, book swaps, and storytelling.

Sports Day

Sleep Over(Lower Primary)
Lower Primary students enjoy an exciting night at school with games, dinner, and bedtime stories. A memorable bonding experience for the class.

Easter
A joyful egg hunt in the garden and creative spring crafts mark this cheerful day. Children learn about Easter traditions through play and stories.

STEM Week
Hands-on experiments and creative challenges spark curiosity in science, tech, engineering, and math. Students learn by doing and exploring.
