Visit us!

If you’re in Japan

We warmly invite you to visit DSK International for a guided school tour. You’ll have the opportunity to meet our principal and teachers, explore the classrooms, see our programme in action, and ask any questions you may have. It’s a great way to get a real feel for our school community.

If you’re outside Japan

We’re happy to connect with families via video or phone call. If you’re not in Japan yet, just let us know a convenient time, and we’ll be glad to arrange an online meeting to introduce you to DSK International and answer your questions.

4

Submit an Application Form and School Reports

After your initial visit or call, we kindly ask you to provide the following:

  • A completed Application Form
  • The three most recent report cards from your current school or kindergarten

    * If these are not in English, German, French, or Japanese, please include a translation.
    * If you are unable to provide recent report cards, please instead submit one of the following forms: a Confidential School Report Form (for Primary School) or a Recommendation Form (for Early Years).

5

Attend a Trial Day

We don’t require entrance exams, but we do love to meet each student, get to know them, and ensure DSKI is the right fit for them.

For Families in Japan

Children aged 2–5 years will join a trial from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Children aged 6 and above attend from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. During the trial, our teachers will observe the student’s language skills, academic level, and general readiness for our school environment.

After the trial, a follow-up interview will be arranged or the school office will contact you with the result

For Families Outside Japan

We understand that not all families can attend a trial in person. In such cases, we’ll base admissions decisions on report cards and confidential references.

Testimonials

Coming from New Zealand, we were looking for a nurturing and globallyminded environment for our children. DSKI struck the perfect balance— strong academics, a friendly atmosphere, and teachers who truly care. Our kids have grown not just in knowledge, but in heart.

We chose DSKI because of its small class sizes, international atmosphere, and caring teachers. Our daughter has blossomed here— she’s more confident, curious, and speaks English and German with ease. We feel very lucky to be part of this special school.

As a German family living in Japan, we were looking for a school that could offer a strong academic foundation while also keeping our children connected to their roots. DSKI exceeded our expectations— not only with excellent German-language instruction, but with a warm, international community that made us feel right at home.
